Project Amadeus shortlisted for the 2013 TechWorld Awards, writes Adrian Overall, CloudTalent CEO…..

It’s great to be nominated and then shortlisted for a prestigious industry award, just two years after opening the doors of CloudTalent.  Thanks must go to Hitachi Capital UK who we worked with on Project Amadeus and who nominated the programme for the ‘Data Centre Project of the Year’ award.

The project was significant in its ‘all encompassing’ nature with the provision of two new data centres, a Unix to Linux migration, an upgrade to Weblogic from IAS,  storage consolidation, a replicated backup and recovery solution, and the provision of a fault tolerant UK wide WAN.

Most importantly though, Hitachi Capital have a world-class infrastructure on which to grow their business for years to come.

We’d like to formally recognise all the hard work of everyone involved, and thank them for the long hours and huge commitment shown on behalf of CloudTalent and Hitachi Capital.  Fingers crossed for Thursday….
